Juanita L. Langsdon

Juanita L. Langsdon, 97, Elizabeth, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, at her home.

Born Nov. 27, 1925, in Elizabeth, she was the daughter of the late Dona R. and Esther Louella Bines Pearson.

She was a homemaker and a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Langsdon; a brother, Charles Pearson; and a sister, Darlene Brewer.

Survivors include two sons, Carl Melvin Langsdon and Alan D. Langsdon, both of Elizabeth; two daughters, Donna Rae Roberts of Floyds Knobs and Gloria Jean Lewis of Elizabeth; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 5, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 6, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.

The funeral will be Monday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Frank Pendleton will officiate.
