HCPL lists upcoming youth programs

Harrison County Public Library offers a variety of programs intended to help children learn about themselves and the world around them. Visit the library’s website, www.hcpl.lib.in.us, for information, virtual content and resources.
The library and all of its branches will be closed Monday, Feb. 20, for Presidents Day.

Weekly Take & Make Crafts — Crafts available all week.
Mother Goose — Wednesdays, Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22, at 10:30 a.m. for newborns to age 2. Join Ms. Savannah for stories and movement.
Toddler Time — Thursdays, Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23, at 10 and 11 a.m. for ages 2 and 3 and their families. Join Ms. Ann for movement and stories.
Move & Groove Storytime — Thursday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. for prekindergarten and up. Join Ms. Eden for stories, music and a craft. This month’s theme will be Dogs.
Fantastic Friday — Feb. 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. for all ages. Drop in for seasonal crafts, activities and a snack; the theme will be Valentine’s Day.
Family Fun — Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. Drop off your stuffed animal at the library and do a craft, then pick up your “friend” after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, to see what they have been up to at the Stuffed Animal Sleepover.
Lego Club — Fridays, Feb. 3, 17 and 24, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. for all ages. Parents will monitor their own children.
Teen Volunteers — Tuesdays, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; pick up a teen bookmark schedule with details. Registration is requested.
