Corydon receives Water Fluoridation Quality Award

On Jan. 19, the Town of Corydon received the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Water Fluoridation Quality Award.
This award is given to community water systems that provided a measured high quality of water fluoridation for the previous 12 consecutive months.
“This award shows the Town of Corydon’s commitment to providing safe and fluoridated drinking water to our customers,” said Bruce Cunningham, Corydon’s town manager. “It also shows the high level of care our certified operators take on a daily basis.
“Stacy Sailor and his crew do a fine job pumping and treating every gallon of water that flows to our customers,” he added.
The Town of Corydon serves a population of approximately 6,500 people along with multiple businesses and schools.
