Carolyn Dale

Carolyn Dale, 78, New Albany, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023.

Born Nov. 1, 1944, in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Amba Dowling.

She worked as a hairdresser and owned and operated Expressions Inc. in New Albany and was a member and head deacon of St. John’s Presbyterian Church in New Albany.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Dale and Tina Dale, and two granddaughters.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.

The funeral will be Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in the Greenville Cemetery.
