Andrew D. Pavey

Andrew (Andy) David Pavey, 46, of Ramsey, Ind., passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, after “fighting the good fight” with pancreatic cancer.

Surrounded by his loving family and friends as he departed to rest from a long battle, Andy has gone to rest and to keep watch of those whom he loved.

Andy was born in New Albany, Ind., on Nov. 16, 1976, to his parents, Mr. David Scott Pavey and Mrs. Linda Carol Spalding Pavey.

He worked for North Harrison High School, never knew a stranger, loved being a family man and watching his children in sports and their individual activities. Andy also loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, the North Harrison Cougars, IU basketball and the Yankees. Not only did he love big, but Andy was well respected, embraced and loved by his family, friends and community.

Preceding Andy in death are his father, Mr. David Pavey, and grandparents, Eugene and Audra Pavey-Fugate and Robert and Barbara Spalding.

Left to cherish his memory and carry his joyful spirit are his loving wife, Kelli Duley Pavey; his children, Lily and Tommy; mother, Linda Pavey; and a brother, Adam Pavey (Stacy).

Visitation for Andy will be at Swarens Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at the Unity Chapel gymnasium on Sunday, Jan. 29, with a brief visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., service starting at 1:30 p.m.
