James Paris

James (Jim) Paris, 67, of Jeffersonville, Ind., passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his family, and he enjoyed the simple things in life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Winfield Jr. and Sarah Anderson Paris, and his siblings, Mike Deckard, Becky Smith, Jack Paris and Chere Paris.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lori Roggenkamp Paris; his children, Erica Paris, Jed Paris, Elizabeth Carrier (Jason) and Guthrie Paris (Brittney); his grandchildren, Letty Carrier and Alexis and Tyler Kennedy; his sister, Paulette Holman (Jeff); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, on Thursday, Jan. 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date.
