Former North Harrison Cougar Deven Moore is off to a hot start in his first year with Christian Educational Consortium’s boys’ basketball team.
Moore, a junior who was on North Harrison’s first sectional championship team since 1996 a year ago, is currently third on the Cougars with 15.4 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. He is also second on the Cougars by shooting 36% from three and 87% from the charity stripe.
The Cougars currently stand at 9-1 overall and are 4-1 in district play, thanks in part to the hot shooting of Moore. The junior has posted multiple career highs in points this season, including scoring 23 points against Columbus Homeschool on Nov. 12, 24 points and eight three-pointers against Bethel Christian on Nov. 22 and 26 points and eight triples against Frederick Fraize on Friday.
