Linda L. Wilder, 74, New Albany, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, in New Albany.

She was born May 13, 1948, in New Albany, the daughter of John W. and Rose Mary Lively Manning.

She graduated from New Albany High School in 1966 and was a former executive secretary for Farm Credit Bank. Linda was an animal lover, but her favorite animal were cats, especially her cat, Little Man. Linda was an active member of Tunnel Hill Christian Church, where she served as a deacon.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Michael; son, Brian D. LaDuke; sister, Carol Shaffer; and brother, Paul Manning.

She is survived by her son, Paul L. Wilder of Georgetown, Ind.; sisters, Barbara Mullen (David) of Central, Ind., and Susan Harrison (Jessie) of Lincolnton, Ga.; grandchildren, Ashley and Logan Wilder; and several nieces, nephews, great-, great-great- and great-great-great-nieces and -nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, and from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.

The family requests donations to be made to Tunnel Hill Christian Church or Rose Hill Cemetery.
