•I just wanted to mention that I’m so glad that the Live Wire is back; actually, that’s one of the main reason I buy your newspaper. Also, I wanted to agree with someone that called in this week about the election grid. I couldn’t read it at all due to my poor eyesight.
•I would like to say that downtown Corydon looks beautiful with all the lights. The comment that I have that’s not that good is about the information that I saw said that Light Up Corydon was at 6:45, and through the years, they have always had a count down. And this year, I thought I had plenty of time and was in a store when I found out that Light Up happened at 6:20. I think that someone made a mistake. Also, according to the people that were there outside at that time, there was no countdown either. And, I was disappointed; I always like to see that, and I was disappointed that I missed it because I always like to see that.
Editor’s note: The lights for Light Up Corydon were turned on a little early, at least by my iPhone clock, but only by about 5 minutes.
•This comment is for (a) wrecker service. You need to train your drivers. Just because they are pulling the car and had the red lights flashing doesn’t mean that they don’t have to stop at stop signs or at the red lights. The red flashing lights are just a warning lights for going down the road; they have to obey the laws just like everyone else and stop at stop signs, to not take the right-of-way away from everybody and slow down.
