Gingerbread Man Puppet Show — Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Boys & Girls Club in Corydon for all ages; watch a fun puppet show, decorate a gingerbread man cookie and make a gingerbread man puppet. Registration is required.
Mother Goose — Wednesdays, Dec. 7 and 21, at 10:30 a.m. for newborns to age 2. Join Ms. Savannah for stories and movement.
Toddler Time — Thursdays, Dec. 1, 8 and 15, at 10 and 11 a.m. for pre-kindergarten and older. Join Ms. Ann for stories, music and a craft.
Nature Club — Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m. for school-age children and their families. Join Ms. Eden for stargazing at Rice Island in Corydon to view planets, the moon and more in a telescope.
Kids in the Kitchen — Friday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. for ages 4 and older. Decorate a 2D gingerbread house; bring a bag of candy to share. Registration is required.
Fantastic Friday — Dec. 16 from 2 to 4 p.m., drop in for seasonal snacks, crafts and activities. All ages welcome.
Lego Club — Friday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. for all ages. Parents will monitor their own children.
Teen Volunteers — Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., help with a puppet show. Registration is requested.
Weekly Take & Make Crafts — Crafts available all week.
Storytime — Fridays, Dec. 2, 9 and 16, at 10 a.m. for newborns to age 6 and their families. Join Ms. Nikki or Ms. Shawnda for stories, puppets, songs and more.
Monday Funday — Dec. 19 drop in any time for crafts and fun.
Storytime — Fridays at 11:30 a.m. for newborns to age 6 and their families. Join Ms. Sara for a story, craft and movement. Dec. 9 — Bear Stays Up; Dec. 16 — Reindeer Games.
Cooking Academy Take & Make — Friday, Dec. 2; Preregister for a Christmas tree cookie.
Monday Fun Day Take & Make — Pick-up day is Monday, Dec. 12, for a gingerbread house. Registration is required.
Storytime — Fridays, Dec. 2 and 9, at 10 a.m. for newborns to age 6 and their families. Join Ms. Nancy for stories, songs, dance and sensory play.
Cooking Academy Take & Make — Saturday, Dec 3. Preregister for a Christmas tree cookie.
Mark your calendars for the 2023 Feed Harrison County Winter Reading Challenge. If the 9,500 books reading and logging goal is met, Tyson Foods will donate 100 cases of chicken while Duke Energy ($1,000) and Harrison REMC ($200) will make a donation to purchase food for Harrison County Community Services. Book logging will be recorded in Beanstack or through library bookmark logs. Additional community sponsors are welcome.
The library and all branches will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24; Monday, Dec. 26; Saturday, Dec. 31; and Monday, Jan. 2.
