Ronald Dale Cochran, 68, of Leavenworth, Ind., passed from this life on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd.

He was born on Nov. 28, 1953, in Corydon, Ind., to the late Richard William and Myrtle Elizabeth Watson Cochran.

Ronald was a former truck driver for Independent Beer Distributors in Corydon. He was a former member of the Eagles Club in Corydon. He was an avid UofL Cardinals fan, served as an umpire for a Little League baseball team in Corydon and loved to bowl, go camping and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill, David Gene, Kenneth Wayne, Donald Gene and Richard James Cochran; and a sister, Shirley Atwood.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn M. Cochran of Leavenworth; sons, Timothy Cochran (Rachel) of Madison, Ind., Darrin Lynch of Fredonia, Ind., and Shane Lynch (Marilyn) of Tell City, Ind.; daughters, Amy Waterworth (Bill) of Marengo, Ind., and Laura Carroll of Fredonia; brothers, Roger Lee Cochran of Indianapolis, Ind., and Gary Kent Cochran of Milltown, Ind.; sisters, Carolyn Sue Jenkins of Indianapolis and Pamela Kay Barnes (Tom) of Corydon; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Fredonia Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, from 3 to 7 p.m. and after 9 a.m. until time of the service at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, all at the funeral home.

Pastor Ed Conway will officiate the service.
