Harrison County Public Library offers a variety of programs intended to help children learn about themselves and the world around them.

The library will be closed Friday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day. It will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, and reopen Saturday, Nov. 26, with regular business hours; the Corydon location will host crafts for Light Up Corydon from 1 to 4 p.m.

Weekly Take & Make Crafts β€” Crafts available all week.

Mother Goose β€” Wednesdays, Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 30, at 10:30 a.m. for newborns to age 2. Join Ms. Savannah for rhymes, stories, songs and movement.

Toddler Time β€” Thursdays, Nov. 3, 10 and 17, at 10 and 11 a.m. for ages 2 and 3 and their families. Join Ms. Ann for stories, rhymes and early literacy fun.

Move & Groove Storytime β€” Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 10:30 a.m. Join Ms. Eden for movement, stories, music and a craft. Designed for pre-kindergarten and older and their families. The theme will be I Am Thankful.

Nature Club β€” Thursday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m. for school-age children and their families. Join Ms. Eden for a scavenger hunt on a fall nature walk.

Fantastic Friday β€” Nov. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m., drop in for a harvest hoedown with autumn snacks, crafts and activities. All ages welcome.

Light Up Corydon Crafts β€” Saturday, Nov. 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. Drop n to make a reindeer puppet and pick up a downtown Corydon Christmas scavenger hunt list.

Lego Club β€” Friday, Nov. 4, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. for all ages. Parents will monitor their own children as they play.

Teen Volunteers β€” Tuesdays, Nov. 1, 8, 15 and 22, from 6 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Register to participate. Stop by the library to pick up a teen bookmark schedule.
