Spay/neuter clinic offered for cats
There will be a low-cost cat spay/neuter clinic Saturday, Oct. 15, sponsored by HEART Humane Society.
Felines will be checked in and dropped off for the clinic at the Lanesville Jaycees building and picked up later the same day.
The basic service for cats will include a physical exam, spay/neuter, pain medication and tattoo, as well as any other essential services as determined by the veterinarian, for $90.
Harrison County residents can get $20 off the price by picking up a $20 SNAP voucher at the Harrison County Animal Control facility, located at 3132 Hope Lane NW in Corydon. The voucher must be presented at the clinic on Oct. 15.
Additional financial assistance will be available upon request the day of the event.
