The Knights of Columbus Pope John Paul II Council at Lanesville will have its third annual dinner and auction to support St. Joseph Catholic School in Corydon.

Named for the founder of the event, Frank Ordner Jr., it will be Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Knights of Columbus, located at 1808 S.R. 62 west of Lanesville.

Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 for $20 a person. The menu will include grilled pork tenderloin, baked potato, green beans, coleslaw, dinner roll and dessert. For children younger than 12, there will be a free hot dog, chips and drink.

There will also be a cash bar.

Both a silent and live auction will begin at 7:15.

This fundraiser was started in 2020 by the late Frank Ordner Jr., a fourth-degree Knight who served in nearly every capacity in the local council, as a fundraiser for the only Catholic school in Harrison County.

Donations will be accepted. Make checks payable to Knights of Columbus; note in memo “St. Joe dinner.”
