Harrison County Public Library offers a variety of programs intended to help children learn about themselves and the world around them. Weekly Take & Make Crafts β€” Crafts available all week.
Mother Goose β€” Wednesdays, Sept. 7, 14 and 21, at 10:30 a.m. for newborns to age 2. Join Ms. Savannah for rhymes, stories, songs and movement.

Toddler Time β€” Thursdays, Sept. 1, 8, 15 and 22, at 10 and 11 a.m. for ages 2 and 3 and their families. Join Ms. Ann for stories, rhymes and early literacy fun.

Move & Groove Storytime β€” Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 10:30 a.m. and Thursday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. Join Ms. Eden for movement, stories, music and a craft. Designed for pre-kindergarten and older and their families. The theme will be Beautiful Butterflies.

Nature Club at Hayswood Nature Reserve β€” Thursday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. for school-age children and their families. Join Ms. Eden at the Hayswood lake trail to look for butterflies and more.

Fantastic Fridays β€” Sept. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m., drop in for bug-themed snacks, crafts and activities. All ages welcome.

Lego Club β€” Fridays, Sept. 2, 9, 23 and 30, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. for all ages. Parents will monitor their own children as they play.

Teen Volunteers β€” Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. Join Ms. Savannah to earn teen volunteer hours with activities and socialization. Sept. 6, prep crafts; Sept. 13, pick new teen books; Sept. 20, pick up trash downtown; Sept. 27, make a book display.
