Hebard new pastor at Central Barren UMC
Central Barren United Methodist Church recently welcomed its new pastor, The Rev. Scott Hebard.
On Hebard’s first date to start his journey with the Central Barren congregation on June 19, he gave a dynamic and motivated message, according to a church member.
Hebard, who succeeds the Rev. Larry Martin, comes to Central Barren UMC from circular ministry. He has Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, experience with director of student ministries and in Christian studies. Hebard also served nine years in Air Force.
Hebard and his wife, Teresa, along with their children, resided in Salem.
Central Barren United Methodist Church has Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
