The South Central Class of 1961 met June 28. We are trying to keep a schedule with our classmate luncheon. We meet at Cracker Barrel at noon in Corydon. Our next luncheon is planned for July 26. Those attending last month’s luncheon were Kenny and Martha Dones, Bernice Schickel, Ronnie Schoen, Dallas and Norma Waynescott, David and Birdie Tuell, Jim Wolfe, Nick and Shirley Fessel, Sue Graves and assistant, Rosemary Russell, Donna Heinze and Anita K. Bube. Other classmates unable to attend were Judy Eaton, Lois Stiller and Jim and Karen Brewer.
A belated happy 60th anniversary to Jim and Phyllis Wolfe.
Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.”
Wherever God leads us and however we serve him, we can be used by him to help others shine his light. As God, by his spirit, provides the true illumination, we can reflect the light and love of his presence.
Along roadsides, I see the Queen Anne Lace plant growing wildly, along with the orange lily and wild phlox and a blue flower enhancing the untilled fields. Before this was wild golden mustard and the purple henbit.
