Light Up Leavenworth is partnering with WBRO for a Fourth of July Tailgate Party. on Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. There will be food, games, music and a fireworks display.

Here’s the schedule:

•Cornhole tournament will start at 6 p.m. with a $10 entry fee per team. Winning team will get half the pot.

•Chicken dinners will be sold starting at 6. Meals will be $8 for half a chicken with sides and $12 for whole chicken with sides.

•Free bounce house and games for kids will start at 6 p.m.

•The Leavenworth Volunteer Fire Dept. will provide a spray down throughout the evening.

•Live bands will start at 6:30 p.m. Featured local bands will be Crew812, Blvetongve and The Honey Blueides.

•A hot dog-eating contest will start at 7 p.m. Adults 18 and older will have a $5 entry fee. Whoever eats 10 hot dogs the fastest will win half the pot. Children ages 12 to 17 will have a $3 entry fee. Whoever eats five hot dogs the fastest will get half the pot. Children 12 and younger are free. Whoever eats three hot dogs the fastest will win tickets to Corydon Cinemas.

•The best apple pie contest will be judged at 7:30 p.m. There’s a $5 entry fee, and winner will get half the pot. A silent auction for the pies will end at 8:30 p.m.

•There will be a Most Patriotic Car contest, so attendees should decorate their vehicles for 8 p.m. judging. The winner will get a gift certificate to the Overlook Restaurant.

•Fireworks will begin at dark.
