Fifteen youth and 10 adults with Tic Tac & Sew 4-H Club participate in packing nutritious meals to be shared with Ukrainian refugees as a part of Love The Hungry. During a three-night event at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church near Ramsey, they packed enough meals to feed 1,000 people for 30 days. Rick Crecelius, Unity Chapel’s long-time mission coordinator, organizes the annual event. “It is the one of three initiatives that our 4-H club participates in yearly to help feed the hungry, both locally and globally,” said Lisa Uhl, Crecelius’ sister. All churches and organizations are welcome to participate. Call 812-347-2887 to get on the call list for future Love The Hungry events.
