Baker claims two records

South Central senior runner Maddox Baker, left, leads a pack of runners during the 3,200-meter run at Henryville last Wednesday. Baker finished the event with a time of 9:55, breaking the program’s previous record set by Eric Hess, who had a time of 10:11 in the event back in 1994. Baker followed that feat by breaking the 32-year-old 1,600-meter record with a time of 4:30.2 at Salem on Monday.
