Vernal Stump

Vernal Stump, 79, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, in Corydon.

Born May 6, 1942, in Pike County, Ky., he was the son of the late Lewis and Cora Mounts Stump.

He was an Army veteran and a retired employee of General Electric.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Stump; a brother, Paul Stump; and a grandson, Grahm Stump.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Stump of Corydon; a daughter, Stephanie Wright of Kouts; a son, Jonelle Stump of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.

The funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
