GOP to host free legislative update breakfast Saturday
The Harrison County Republicans will host a free breakfast Saturday at 10 at the government center in Corydon. They will be joined by Harrison Countyâs state legislative delegation in Indianapolis, State Reps. Karen Engleman and J. Michael Davisson, who was selected by a caucus to succeed his father, Steve Davisson, who died in September.
Erin Houchin resigned as Harrison Countyâs state senator effective Feb. 4 to focus on her campaign for Congress. Her successor will be selected by a caucus by the Indiana Republican Party today (Wednesday). Participation by her replacement will be pending the outcome of the caucus.
Speakers will give an update about this yearâs General Assembly session and take questions from attendees.
