Donn W. Baker

Donn W. Baker, 70, Lanesville, Ind., passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Dec. 22, 1951, in New Albany, Ind., to the late Paul and Rita Mae Zimmerman Baker.

Donn was a retired electrician for 40 years with The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky., and was a musician.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Warren Duffy Baker.

Survivors include his daughter, Lauren Baker Smithson (Josh); his sons, Chuck Crosby-Baker and Karlyn Baker (Deena); his grandchildren, Zoey Smithson and David Baker; his sister, Vicki Kemp; and his brother, Paul T. Baker.

There will be visitation from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, Ind.
