Betty J. Jones

Betty Joan Jones, 78, Corydon, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Born Nov. 28, 1943, in Brazil, she was the daughter of the late John Nicholas and Blanche Sylvia Morlan Jones.

She retired after 25 years from Hall Real Estate in Indianapolis, was formerly employed at the Union Hospital in Terre Haute and was a member of Pasadena Baptist Church in Dade City, Fla., and Camp Bluebird cancer survivor’s organization.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy P. Harland, Homer Montgomery and David Syester; six brothers, Bob, Eldon, Donald (Gene), Jim, John and Kenny Jones; a sister, Mildred Vanatti; and two infant sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Roy D. Harland of Corydon and Donnie R. Montgomery of Indianapolis; two brothers, Paul Norman Jones of Dade City and Ronald Wayne Jones of Moores Hill; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
