Merele R. Kintner Jr.
Merele Ross Kintner Jr., age 73, Depauw, Ind., passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2022.
Merele was born Oct. 24, 1948, at Corydon, Ind.
He was owner and operator of Kintner Cabinet Co., Depauw, and member and past commander of Sons of Milltown American Legion Post No. 332.
Preceding him in death were his father, Merele Ross Kintner Sr.; daughter, Angela Marie Satterfield; and brother, Roger Dale Kintner.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mary A. Maiden Kintner; son, Kevin Lee Kintner (Melinda) of Depauw; daughter, Lisa Marie Stepro (Carter Wills Jr.) of Depauw; mother, Ruth Dexter Kintner of Depauw; brother, David Kintner (Lil) of Depauw; sisters, Doris Hadley of Depauw, Virginia Gardner (Harold) of Depauw, Marilyn Kintner of Depauw and Lynn Harrell (Paul) of Depauw; grandchildren, Katisha McGuire, Bobby Campbell (Kayla) and Chloe, Elizabeth, Clarissa, Logan and Wyatt Kintner; great-grandchildren, Gabriel McGuire, Gauge Wooten and Ellie Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Highway 64 NW, Ramsey, Ind.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
