Locals hold memories of the Popcorn Festival close to their hearts, and, in 2022, this beloved event is returning after more than 20 years.

This event will take place throughout downtown Corydon on July 1 and 2.

The Popcorn Festival celebrates one of Harrison County’s biggest agricultural products and the official state snack: popcorn. Features of the festival will include ongoing live music, a parade, children’s activities, a car show, a beer garden and fireworks.

The festival is a joint effort between Cousin Willie’s Popcorn, Preferred Popcorn LLC, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Dept., Harrison County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Harrison County Parks Dept. and community volunteers.

Further information will be posted to www.thisisindiana.org/popcorn as the event is finalized.
