Geneva Lucille Stepro, 96, of Corydon, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at her son’s home near Corydon.

Born Jan. 1, 1926, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Custer Taylor and Emma Stratton Taylor.

She was formerly employed at the old Dog and Suds restaurant and Keller Manufacturing Co., both in Corydon, and was a member of the Corydon Christian Church – Disciples of Christ.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon C. Stepro; five brothers, Gilbert, Dudley, Edward (Pete), Walter and Henry Taylor; and seven sisters, Edna Riley, Bessie Moffet, Artie Moffet, Florence Troncin, Mattie Willard, Catherine Catlett and Margaret Gresham.

Survivors include two sons, Rodger D. Stepro and Carl D. Stepro, both of Corydon; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 18, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

The funeral will be Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
