HC COVID deaths at 115
Harrison County has had 115 deaths related to COVID-19, according to the local health department.
The five additional deaths since last week are a 61-year-old male with underlying medical conditions, a 47-year-old male, a 55-year-old male, a 56-year-old male with underlying medical conditions and a breakthrough case of an 81 year-old female with underlying health conditions.
Three of the 115 deaths of Harrison County residents are considered clinical deaths, meaning a physician diagnosed the patients as having COVID-19 but no test was documented.
Statewide, there have been another 651 deaths in the past week, bringing the total to 19,084. An additional 61 deaths for a total of 712, are considered to be likely COVID related.
Harrison County’s Health Dept. reports there have been 8,118 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 368 within the past week.
Indiana has recorded a total of 1,366,754 positive cases of the virus, up 88,469 from the previous week.
A total of 17,177,563 COVID tests have been performed in Indiana, an increase of 377,016 since last week, with 27,890 of those of Harrison County residents, up by 374 from the week prior.
A total of 19,188 Harrison Countians have received their first dose of a COVID vaccine, an increase of 147 since last week, with 19,234 considered to be fully vaccinated, up 93 from the previous week.
Statewide, 3,676,226 Hoosiers have received their first dose of a vaccine, an increase of 34,791 from a week earlier, with 3,587,376 residents considered fully vaccinated, up another 22,480.
