The Golden Clovers 4-H Club met Jan. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Club president Katie Wise called the meeting to order. Mareva Spencer led the pledge of allegiance, and Sadi Weilbaker led the 4-H pledge.

Peyton Funk read the financial report, stating the club has a balance of $218.31, and Gregory Circle read the minutes from the November meeting.

Corey Funk, a guest speaker, talked about the 4-H Point System, including how to earn points and the benefits of accumulating 4-H points.

Coen Weilbaker gave a demonstration about corn, Sadi Weilbaker provided a demonstration about cats and Ezra Schultz gave a demonstration on Bo staffs.

Elliott Schultz led members in a game of hangman.

For the health-and-safety report, Spencer talked about the importance of sleep.

For the next meeting, scheduled for Monday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m., Spencer will provide a health-and-safety report, Coen Weilbaker will lead a game and Gregory Circle will provide a demonstration. The meeting will take place in the basement of the Palmyra Church of Christ.
