Dorothea M. Redden

Dorothea M. Redden, age 88, Corydon, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.

Dottie was born Jan. 19, 1933, at Corydon, to the late Cassell Glenn and Mary Margaret Peper Troncin.

She was a former Harrison County clerk, recorder and worked at the license branch for several years and was a member of Highfill Chapel Baptist Church, Taswell, Ind.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, James Edward Redden; sister, Marilyn Shaffer; and a granddaughter, Kristin Padgett.

Surviving are sons James E. Redden (Denise) of New Salisbury, Ind., and Jerry O. Redden (Amanda) of Depauw, Ind.; daughter Jacqueline M. Redden of Corydon; brother Tommy Troncin (Susie) of Corydon; grandchildren Gregory Redden, Brook Yates (Scott), Derrick Padgett (Hannah) and Zachary Redden (Melissa); and great-grandchildren Barrett, Brandon and Sadie Padgett, Vivienne, Elodie, Gabriel and Khloe Redden and Sloan Hanger.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Highway 64 NW, Ramsey, Ind., with interment in Highfill Chapel Cemetery, Taswell.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
