Robert M. McCarthy
Robert Morris McCarthy, 81, Georgetown, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021, in Georgetown.
Born June 24, 1940, he was the son of the late Andrew and Roberta Morris McCarthy.
He was a sales manager for Regional Heinze Foods in Pittsburgh before moving to Lanesville, vice president of Standard Foods and owner and operator, alongside his wife, of Morris Vending.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny McCarthy, and a stepdaughter, Kelly Bullard.
Survivors include a son, Andrew McCarthy of Louisville; a daughter, Kathleen Koburger of Tallahassee, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Miller of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 30, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Pastor Richard Goodwin will officiate.
