Lily Moore, of Corydon, was named Most Valuable Player of the Jarod Lovekamp Invitation Tournament on Dec. 4 in Louisville. The Christian Education Consortium Lady Cougars won the inaugural tournament in Louisville on Dec. 4 with a come-from-behind victory over Kentucky’s Shawnee High School in the championship game, winning 54-51. Moore averaged 22 points, 14.5 rebounds, three assists and four steals for the tournament and led the Lady Cougars with 23 points and 18 rebounds in the championship game.
