Sallie M. Coburn


Sallie Marie Coburn, 76, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at her home in Corydon, Ind., surrounded by family.
She was born Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1944, the daughter of Luther Sr. and Ethel Skaggs Graham.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church in Kernersville, N.C., and attended Perseverance Chapel in Corydon.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Coburn; grandson, Drake Brown; and brothers, Luther Jr. and James Graham.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen Edwards (Scott) of Winston Salem, N.C., Brooke Clinard (Brian) of Kernersville, N.C., and Melinda Weathers (Ralph) of Fredericksburg, Ind.; one son, David Coburn (Kim) of Corydon; one brother, Kenny Graham (Judy) of Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
There will be visitation on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, from noon until 6 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
There will be visitation on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, from noon until 6 p.m., and the funeral ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Entombment will take place in Kernersville, N.C., where Sallie will be entombed with her husband in East Lawns Garden of Memories.
