Ricky L. Gibson

Ricky Lynn Gibson, 56, of Lanesville, Ind., died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Ind.

He was born Aug. 27, 1965, in New Albany, to the late Robert E. and Josephine L. Hussung Gibson.

He was a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service in Louisville, Ky., and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Brandon Lee Gibson.

Survivors include his wife, Hope Allison Rhodes Gibson; his son, Brayden Levi Gibson; his daughters, Shelby Lyn Rhodes and Alexis Brooke Gibson; his brothers, Brian D. and Gregory K. Gibson; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Rhodes, Josh Norman, Mitchel Holton, Cameron Rhodes, Grant Gibson, Warren Fennig, Anthony Rhodes and Dylan Rhodes.
