Marion W. Myers

Marion W. Myers, age 84, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2021.

He was born in Georgetown, Ohio, on March 3, 1937, to Robert (Clay) and Marybell Hatten Myers.

He graduated from Corydon Central High School. Mr. Myers served in the Air Force for four years. He married Barbara Fink on May 3, 1958.

He worked for Hancock County REMC for 34 years as a journeyman lineman/foreman. Mr. Myers was a long-time member of The Eagles and The Moose in Greenfield. He enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling.

He is survived by his sons, Robert Myers (Lisa Wable) and Charles Myers (Christy); daughters, Kathy Todd (Ray) and Beverly Keesling (Stephen); sister, Gail Mitchell; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; brother, Joseph Myers; brothers-in-law, John Fink, David Fink, Don Mitchell and Robert Knear; and sister-in-law, Terry Fink.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W. U.S. Highway 40 in Greenfield, with the funeral beginning at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Diabetes Association; envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
