David G. Bolen Jr.

David G. Bolen Jr., 48, Jeffersonville, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

Born Oct. 10, 1973, in Corydon, he was the son of David G. Bolen Sr. and the late Patricia A. Bolen.

He was a former construction worker for Irby Construction and a former waiter for Waffle House in Corydon and New Albany.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Sturgeon, and his grandmother, Jane Bolen.

Survivors in addition to his father include a son, Tanner Glen Bolen; a daughter, Marissa C. Ellis; three brothers, Carl Edwards, Clint Bolen and Vernon Carroll; and three sisters, Connie Richardson, Caren Edwards and Kelly Dillard.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 23, after 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.

The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
