Darline Pfannmoeller

Darline Evans Pfannmoeller, 92, of Roanoke, Va., formerly of Lanesville, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jack Pfannmoeller, and parents, Asa and Bernice Smith Evans of Lanesville.

Darline was a graduate of Lanesville High School and the New Albany Business College in New Albany, Ind. She was a member of the Lanesville United Methodist Church and the Marine Corps Officer’s Wives Club.

Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Keith Baker of Vinton, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign or to the SPCA.

A graveside service was conducted Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, in the Lanesville Protestant Cemetery by the Rev. Edith Bleecker. There was no visitation.
