Man faces burglary, auto theft charges
A New Salisbury man was arrested Sunday and faces charges of burglary and auto theft.
According to a press release, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Dept. received numerous calls Sunday from residents in the Elizabeth and New Middletown areas reporting that a male had broken into several residences as well as entered several unlocked vehicles, taking property from vehicles. He also allegedly stole a vehicle that was unlocked with its keys in it.
Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Ranke subsequently arrested the man who was identified as 27-year-old Austin Hall.
Hall was taken to the Harrison County Jail in Cory-
don and initially charged with 21 criminal offenses to include burglary and auto theft.
