The Golden Clovers 4-H Club met Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. In the absence of club president Katie Wise, vice president Levi Weilbaker led the meeting.

The pledge to the flag was led by Elliott Schultz, and the 4-H pledge was led by Sadi Weilbaker.

Levi Weilbaker led roll call with members naming their favorite thing about the fall season.

The financial report was read by Peyton Funk, who reported $206.51 as the bank statement balance.

Ezra and Elliott Schultz were recognized as recreation officers for the 2021-22 4-H year.

Levi reviewed the club’s community service projects for this year, including items the Harrison County Animal Control facility could use.

Mariva Spencer gave a Halloween safety report. Demonstrations were given by Gregory Circle, about stop motion videos, and Peyton Funk, about first-aid for broken bones. Ezra and Elliott Schultz are to provide demonstrations at the next meeting.

Coen Weilbaker led a game of Hangman toward the end of the meeting.

The next meeting will be Monday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the Palmyra Church of Christ basement. New members are welcome.
