A Palmyra man was injured earlier this month when he crashed his motorcycle into a cow.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Dept., Gregory Brown, 52, was traveling east on Bear Creek Road in Washington County when he crashed into a black cow that was standing in the road at about 11:14 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

Police said Brown, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to University Hospital in Louisville by Floyd County Ambulance Service for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
