Norma V. Saltsgaver Draper, 95, of Sulphur, Ind., died on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Norma was born on April 19, 1926, in Milltown, Ind., to the late Roscoe C. and Mamie E. Bye Saltsgaver.

Norma was a former cook for the Overlook Restaurant in Leavenworth, Ind., a member of the Word of Life Church in Evansville, enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren and loved her dog, Puddles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd C. Draper; son, Earl Lee Draper; daughter, Donna Johnson; brothers, Earl Ray and Eugene Saltsgaver; sister, Ruth Barrentine; and a grandchild, Justin Marshall.

She is survived by her sons, Carl E. Draper (Brenda) of Sulphur and Richard D. Draper (Donna) of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; daughter, Doris J. Marshall (Robert) of Evansville; brothers, Paul Saltsgaver and Don Saltsgaver; sisters, Mary Patrick, Alma Medley, Rheva Roggenkamp and Alice Lutz; and grandchildren, Derek, Jenny, Angela, Julie, Audra and Jeran.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown. Interment will follow in the Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, from 11 a.m. until time of the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mike Gillispie will officiate the service.

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown is entrusted with the arrangements.
