The Harrison County Cemetery Restoration Team will head to Webster Township to work at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Dogwood.

“We’ll be there on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m.,” said team member Mary Eve. “Our last working day for the 2021 season is Saturday, Sept. 25. As yet, we haven’t scheduled a location. It will depend on how much we get done at St. Michael’s.”

To get to St. Michael’s from Corydon, travel south on S.R. 337 to St. Michael’s Road; turn left (east). The cemetery is one-fourth mile ahead on the left (north side of road). Parking will be up the gravel drive on the left in the grassy area.

“We’d like to thank the folks who have stopped by during this year to either help or to learn,” Eve said. “We know it’s not been easy to get out and stay safe, so we appreciate the help even more. Thank you.”

Anyone with questions about the cemetery restoration group, has found a gravestone that needs repair or wants to know how to clean a gravestone is welcome to call Eve at 812-738-4236.
