Information for the court news is gathered from public records at the Harrison County Justice Center and Court House. The charges listed here do not always include persons who have not yet been notified of the alleged offense. All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty or pleading guilty in court.

Felonies

Operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to 0.15 or more – defendant has a prior conviction — Claude Virgil Kee II, 35, 5500 block of Old S.R. 135, Corydon.

Possession of methamphetamine – this is the basic offense and for any amount below 5 grams — Renee Lynn Bailey, 46, Fort Wayne.

Robbery resulting in bodily injury, escape – while escaping defendant inflicts bodily injury on someone, battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, auto theft, resisting law enforcement – defendant uses a vehicle, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon — William G. Wiley, 26, Greenville, Ky.

Theft – value of property is between $750 and $50,000, theft – defendant has a prior conviction for either theft or conversion — Adam P. Osborne, 39, Louisville.

Misdemeanors

Operating a vehicle with alcohol concentration equivalent to 0.15 or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person — Ryan Everett Newman, 35, 1600 block of Pleasant Grove Road SW, Mauckport.

Possession of marijuana — Michael Gregory Lusk, 28, Dana Point, Calif.; Ronald L. Smith, 42, Vine Grove, Ky.

Resisting law enforcement – defendant knowingly or intentionally flees from law enforcement, conversion, leaving the scene of an accident – driver fails to immediately stop at the scene, reckless driving – drives at unreasonable high or low speed — William G. Wiley, 26, Greenville, Ky.

Michael E. Shafer, 44, 3000 block of Fogel Road SE, Corydon, reckless driving – speed, 60-day sentence with 60 days suspended, eight months probation

Allan K. Rose, 53, 1100 block of Pennington Chapel Road, Corydon, possession of methamphetamine – the basic offense and for any amount below 5 grams, 365-day sentence with credit for 11 days, 343 days suspended, one year probation; theft, 35-day sentence with credit for 58 days, 249 days suspended, no-contact order in place, six months probation, to serve consecutive with prior sentence

Jeremy P. Higgins, 43, Brandenburg, Ky., theft – value of property is between $750 and $50,000, 730-day sentence with credit for 30 days, 670 days suspended, no-contact order issued, 20 months probation

Michelle Renhea Jurasin, 39, 90 block of Cruse Loop, Corydon, public intoxication – endangers life of another, 180-day sentence with credit for two days, 176 days suspended, 180 days probation

Chaderike James Dye, 34, Louisville, theft – value of property is between $750 and $50,000, 365-day sentence with 365 days suspended, 365 days probation, to serve consecutive with a prior sentence

Richard Paul Chinn, 43, 7800 block of Oak Park Road NE, New Salisbury, possession of methamphetamine – the basic offense and for any amount below 5 grams, 540-day sentence with credit for two days, 538 days suspended, 18 months probation

Ashley N. Cleary, 36, 2100 block of Owans Lane, Corydon, battery, no-contact order in place, six months probation

Kelley Ann McDonald, 30, 200 block of North Oak Street, Corydon, possession of methamphetamine – the basic offense and for any amount below 5 grams, 365-day sentence with credit for 94 days, 271 days suspended, 271 days probation

Diversions

The following cases have been referred to the prosecutor’s pre-trial diversion program. If the terms of the program are met, the charges will be dismissed after a year:
