Edward L. Ingle
Edward Lee Ingle, 72, Marengo, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Indian Creek Health and Rehab of Corydon.
Born June 19, 1949, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Edward Lee Ingle Sr. and Maude Harlow Ingle.
He was an Army veteran during Vietnam, a retired U.S. Postal Service mail carrier and a member of Harned Chapel Church and English VFW Post 6160.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lila Beasley, and a brother, Jerry Ingle.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, the former Cathy Lea Stroud; two daughters, Nichole Priddy of Marengo and Rebecca Flannelly of Lebanon, Tenn.; a son, Cory Ingle of Marengo; three sisters, Peggy Ingle of Woodbridge, Va., Laurie Baker of Huntingburg and Penni Hasenor of Jasper; three brothers, Robert Ingle of French Lick, Donald Ingle of Charlestown and Kevin Ingle of English; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the funeral home. Brothers Phillip Stroud and Ryan Stroud will officiate.
