The Harrison County Public Library offers a variety of programs intended to help children learn about themselves and the world around them. Registration is required for all programs; to register, call the appropriate branch. Corydon Crafts to Go — Weekly crafts available all week.

Storytimes on the Square, Nature Club at Hayswood Nature Reserve and Teen Volunteers at Bicentennial Park will be offered. Dates and times will be announced soon.

Palmyra branch, 812-364-6425

Palmyra Crafts to Go — Weekly crafts available all week.

Palmyra Storytime — Tuesdays, Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28, at 2:30 p.m. and will take place outside; dress for comfort.

Elizabeth branch, 812-969-2899

Elizabeth Take & Make Crafts — Weekly crafts available all week.

Elizabeth Storytime — Fridays at 11 a.m. and will include stories and a craft; dress comfortably for outside. Sept. 10 — Grandparents’ Day; Sept. 17 — apple wreath; and Sept. 24 — Pirates (make a spyglass craft).

Lanesville branch, 812-952-3759

Monday Fun Day Craft — Fall leaf wreath. Pre-registration is required and pick up will be Monday, Sept. 13.

Lanesville Storytime — Fridays, Sept. 17 and 24, at 10 a.m.; dress comfortably for outside.

Note: The Harrison County Public Library, and all of its branches, will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, for Labor Day.
