Geneva L. Osborn
Geneva Lucille Osborn, 103, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, at Indian Creek Healthcare.
She was born Nov. 5, 1917, to the late Floyd and Nellie Patton in English, Ind.
She was a seamstress for many years at Vines on Main Street in New Albany, Ind., and loved to collect antiques at flea markets as well as sell antiques to Red Barn. Geneva loved animals, especially her black cat, “Blackie,” and lived her life to the fullest until she peacefully passed.
Geneva is survived by her nephew, Gary Boes (Nancy Tanner), and Denise Hook, Janine Hackman, Tracey Fessel and Mike Martin.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Osborn.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her “second family,” the wonderful staff at Indian Creek Healthcare Center, for their great care of Geneva.
Visitation will take place at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. with funeral service to follow. Geneva with be entombed next to her husband at Graceland Memorial Park.
