Transgender discussion would be beneficial

There have not been 100 community members at a Lanesville school board meeting since there was a real possibility of losing the Lanesville Community School altogether.

Now, the parents are focusing their concerns and energies over the use of indoor plumbing.

It is hard enough to get through one’s teenage years without hanging an additional 50-pound weight around the neck of a young person who already feels the weight of being in the wrong skin.

Gender identity is not part of Christian ideology. It is, however, a central tenet of facism and a big issue for the Taliban, who simply hate women.

I suggest that education about transgender would benefit the public and the board members.

Let’s remember to “Be kind to one another,” spoken by a gay woman.
