Frederick A. Miller, 73, Corydon, Ind., passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Indian Creek Health Campus in Corydon.

He was born May 19, 1948, in Corydon, the son of Carl E. and May Richert Miller.

He was a 1968 graduate of Corydon Central High School and was an Air Force veteran. He worked at Keller Manufacturing in Corydon, at U.S. Steel and retired from General Electric in Louisville, Ky. He was a member of the New Middletown Volunteer Fire Dept. and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Corydon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Rita Durbin; and his nephew, Miles Durbin Jr.

He is survived by brothers Ronald Miller (Linda) and Wayne Miller and sister Denise Hoehn (Mark), all of Corydon; nieces Katie Goldman (Derick), Amy Watson (Dennis) and Jacqueline Miller; nephews Adam Miller (Shannon), Martin Durbin (Valerie), Tyler Hoehn and Derek Buska-Hoehn (Timothy); great-nieces and great-nephews Scarlett Durbin, Lincoln Miller and Matthew Watson; and his beloved dog Jack.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon. Pastor Evangeline Anderson Rajkumar will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.

The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the New Middletown Volunteer Fire Dept.
