This is a list of upcoming church meetings, socials and other events that we run one time free. The deadline is 10 a.m. Monday; call 812-738-2211.

Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church will host Vacation Bible School with the theme To Mars and Beyond. It will start Sunday at 5:30 p.m. with a cookout (attendees are to bring a side dish/chips and a two-liter drink) and then will run each night through Thursday, July 22, from 6 to 8 with games, snacks, music and stories about God’s word. Grace Tabernacle Assembly of God will host Vacation Bible School beginning Wednesday, July 21, through Saturday, July 24, from 4 to 9 p.m. The theme will be The Jericho Encounter. Preschoolers to high school students are invited to experience a mock city along the Jordan River and meet Joshua. Dinner will be served the first three evenings. On the final day, there will be a pot-luck dinner at 4:30 and music by Austin Brewer. Besides a dish for the meal, attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs and sun umbrella. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church will have its 154th annual celebration Sunday, July 25, beginning at 12:30 with a pitch-in dinner followed by an afternoon of food, fellowship, singing, readings, musical numbers, laughs and addresses. Activities for children will include a slide and climbing wall, bounce house, horseback rides and sidewalk chalk. Baskets of items will be raffled. The church is located at 655 St. Peter’s Church Road SE, Corydon.

Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon will host the Perspective course on Sunday evenings beginning Aug. 1 and continuing for 15 weeks. The course is for believers from all walks of life and all denominations. Pre-registration is required.
