Donald Lee Jobe, 82, of Corydon, Ind., passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at his residence.

Donald was born in Monroe County, Ky., on July 29, 1938, son of the late Buford and Minnie Bell Rhoton Jobe.

He was married to Barbara June Lawson Jobe of Corydon, who survives. He was retired from International Harvester after 30 years of service and was a member of UAW.

Other than his wife, Donald is survived by two daughters, Valerie, wife of Keith Hall, of Louisville, Ky., and Denita Spond of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three sons, Michael, husband of Melissa Jobe, of Corydon, Jeffrey, husband of Marlene Jobe, of LaPorte, Ind., and Donald A., husband of Tammy Jobe, of Elizabeth, Ind.; stepdaughter, Marisha, wife of Greg Sherrard, of Charlestown, Ind.; two stepsons, John Prall of Henryville, Ind., and Gilbert, husband of Trina Prall, of Henryville; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kate Devary of Versailles, Ky., Minnie Jones of Tompkinsville, Ky., and Jennie Beasley of Tompkinsville; and a brother, Clovis, husband of Sharon Jobe, of Indianapolis, Ind.

Other than his parents, his brothers, Cledus, Jackie Ned, Huston, Jehovah and Bobby Dean, and sisters, Lena Ford, Mary Doyle Denton and Jo Nelle Turner, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.

Interment will be at Hammer Cemetery, Tompkinsville.
